Our Mission

Clark Nesbitt’s No Dreams Deferred is a performing arts community theatre that promotes complete awareness of theater using writings primarily by Black authors.

To achieve this goal, we aim to:

• Develop and present a variety of Plays/Productions focused on “Telling Our Own Stories”.
• Promote original works by black writers.
• Perform new works by black writers.
• Create a sense of awareness and understanding of the culture.
• Provide workshops/training focusing on empowering youth and adults seeking to be involved in theatre.
• Provide workshops/training focusing on empowering youth and adults seeking to be involved in technical design.
• Provide workshops/training focused on empowering youth and adults seeking to be involved in performance.
